The purpose of this Boot camp is to help you build your own IOT robotics projects. You will be provided with the kits and our Engineers will give you the knowledge to develop the 4 projects from scratch. The majority of your time in the course will be spent on hands-on activities.
In this training program, you will develop this knowledge by building seven popular robotic systems. Here’s what you’ll learn by hands-on sessions:

INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

MANISH JAIN brings in emerging Technology background along with proven business acumen. He has spearheaded technology initiatives in advanced areas like Blockchain, IOT, DataScience, BigData, Cloud Computing and cyber security for major MNC’s for overseas locations.

Manish has over 12 years of experience in IT Industry that include Technical consultant, Technical trainer, Business coach and research guide role.

In his latest endeavor, Manish has set up the smart city project using IIOT for government of India and created his own crypto currency for one of the major ecommerce organization.

Manish has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from a premier Indian Institute along with specialized courses from SMU and Scotland. He is also a technology advisor and mentor with two IT Tech startups.

Project 1: Soccer Robotics

What is this project about?
Robots are made to perform a set of tasks to achieve a goal. In this project, the goal of your robot is to score a goal! You will build a soccer playing robot that is manually controlled using switches.

This project-based on a great sneak-peek into the world of robotics for high school students. By doing it yourself, you’ll understand the basic building blocks of a robot. With hands-on exercises, you will learn about DC motors, DPDT switches, batteries and other components inside manual controlled robots.

Hardware Kit
Soccer Robotics Kit containing the following items:

   150 RPM Brushed Motors
   DPDT Switch
   Acrylic Robot Chassis

Project 2 : Gesture Robot

What is this project about?
Your kid enjoys playing motion controlled games in your mobile phone? Now you can help your kid to build his very own robot that can be controlled with hand gestures right from home. Gesture controlled robots also known as accelerometer controlled robots, are capable of taking commands from a user's hand gestures and actuate accordingly.

Through this project-based project, your kid will learn to build his very own Gesture Controlled Robot that can be controlled via hand gestures with the help of an ADXL-335 accelerometer sensor. To ease your kid's programming learning experience, the project is equipped with scratch based block programming modules that make programming the robot super easy. So you need not require any prior programming experience to help your kid to build this gesture controlled robot.

By building this project, your kid will practically learn about robot's locomotion, gesture controlled motion, working of DC motors, Arduino Programming, and actuation of robots.

Project 3 : Mobile Controlled Robot

What is this project about?
Your kid enjoys playing with the remote-controlled car? Imagine, what if your kid can learn to build his/ her own mobile controlled robot right from your home? It would be super awesome, isn't it? Yes, now you can help your kid to build their own mobile controlled robot with this online project-based project right from home without any prior programming knowledge.

Mobile controlled robots also known as semi-autonomous robots, are capable of taking commands from a user's mobile phone and actuate accordingly. Through this project-based project, your kid will learn to build his/ her very own mobile controlled robot that can be controlled via DTMF signals received from the mobile phone. To ease your kid's programming learning experience, the project is equipped with scratch based block programming modules that make programming the robot super easy. So you need not require any prior programming experience to help your kid to build this mobile controlled robot.

By building this project, your kid will practically learn about robot's locomotion, DTMF technology, working of DC motors, Arduino Programming, and actuation of robots.

Yes, now you can help your kid to build a edge detection robot using Arduino with project-based project right from home without any prior programming knowledge.

Edge detection robots also known as vision guided robots, are capable of detecting the edge/ corner of a platform and actuate accordingly. Through this school robotics project-based project, your kid will learn to build his/ her very own edge detection robot that uses digital IR sensor to detect the surroundings and move accordingly to avoid falling.
